Google drops support for the Pixel 3 as the November Security Bulletin starts rolling out

A week after the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro are finally released, and Google is already on top of delivering the latest Android Security Bulletin. The update is available for devices going as far back as the Pixel 3a and 3a XL, while officially dropping support for the beloved Pixel 3 and 3 XL.

Included in the November Security Patch, Google has fixed quite a few issues for various devices, some of which are only pertinent to the new Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. Here’s a breakdown of all of Google’s “notable fixes:”

A few of those fixes are coming specifically to the new Pixel 6 series, but this is quite a laundry list of bug fixes and “improvements”. Chances are, you already received the update after unboxing your Pixel 6, but if you have an older Pixel, the update is now rolling out.

Those who don’t want to wait, can head over and download the OTA Images before flashing them manually. Otherwise, expect the update to land on your device within the next day or so.
