How to add wireless charging to the Samsung Galaxy A32

One of the things you’ve got to love about Samsung is the sheer number of low to mid range handsets they put out to try and cater to all kinds of customers, ensuring that everyone will be able to afford a smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy A32 is a great example of one of Samsung’s budget handsets where it comes with features like a large 6.4-inch display and even sports a 90Hz, a feature that not even Apple had until the iPhone 13, which costs more than double that of the Galaxy A32.

Long story short, it’s a pretty value for money handset, but clearly Samsung had to make some compromises and one of those is the lack of wireless charging. We know that some of you might think it’s a deal breaker, but the good news is that if you want to give the phone wireless charging, you can by just spending a few extra bucks.

How to give wireless charging to the Samsung Galaxy A32

Since the Galaxy A32 does not come with wireless charging by default, you’ll need a few extra accessories, such as:

A wireless charging adapter
A wireless charger

In order to facilitate wireless charging on a smartphone, it’ll need a receiver which are essentially a set of coils. Usually phones with built-in wireless charging have these coils inside the phone.

For phones that do not have it, you’ll need to get yourself a wireless charging adapter which is basically the same set of coils but now it’s placed externally on the phone.

All you need to do is plug it into the USB-C port on your Galaxy A32, place it on a wireless charging mat, and you should be all set. Some of these adapters are also thin enough where they can easily fit into the case of your phone without any issue.

Now that you’ve gotten a wireless charging adapter, you’ll need a wireless charger. If you already have one at home that’s Qi compatible, then you should be able to use it just fine, if not here are some of our recommendations.
