Another Pixel 6 ad lands, reminding us that it’s “Coming Soon”

0

It’s almost at the point of being a meme, but Google has still not given us any indication as to when the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will be available. The devices are on display at the Google Store in New York City, and we’ve been seeing more billboard and newspaper ads, along with commercials. A new video has been published to the Google Japan YouTube account, again saying nothing more than the fact that it’s “Coming Soon”.

Just like many of the other ads and teasers that we’ve seen up to this point, Google is highlighting some of the capabilities of its upcoming device. This includes the new Material You design, along with the improved camera system, all powered by the Google Tensor chip. And this time, we’re seeing the Sand and Gold color combination from the Pixel 6 Pro, which looks good in renders, but it’s definitely not the most appealing color of the bunch.

As of tomorrow, it will have been two months since Google gave us our first official glimpse of what’s to come. And since then, we’ve seen the increased marketing budget put to good use. But we still don’t have any idea as to when we will be able to get our hands on these devices. Just scroll through tech Twitter for a few minutes, and you’ll either see people asking the @madebygoogle account when it’s coming, or those who are just saying that they can’t wait for the devices to be released.

The most recent leak points to a release date before the end of the month, coming after a rumored announcement event where Google will provide the rest of the details regarding these devices. Google has already shared quite a bit of information as it is, but we still don’t know things like how much RAM will be included, along with the actual sensors being used in the camera system.

C’mon Google, just give us something other than teasers at this point.
