Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra could give Apple’s iPad Pro a run for its money

Whenever we hear about possible iPad killers from Android manufacturers, we can’t help but sigh because whether you like it or not, Apple’s iPads are only really competing with themselves right now. But that could change with Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra model.

This is because according to a recent post on Clien, apparently the tablet will be packing Samsung’s brand new Exynos 2200 chipset, For those unfamiliar, the Exynos 2200 is the chipset that will feature the use of AMD’s GPUs, which based on the benchmarks has shown it to have better graphical capabilities than Apple’s upcoming A15 chipset.

It is also said that it will offer up similar performance levels as the M1 chipset, which is what is powering Apple’s latest iPad Pro and also some of its Mac computers, meaning that the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will be a tablet that could offer desktop-class performance.

That being said, some reports have claimed that the tablet could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 898 chipset. We’re not sure if this is a regional thing or if Samsung hasn’t decided which to use, so we’ll have to wait and see. If you’re sticking to your guns and want an Android tablet, then perhaps the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra could be the model to end all models.
