Where to buy the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3
The day is finally here. Samsung’s latest smartphones are officially available, meaning that you can head into your local carrier or favorite big box store and get a new phone. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are two fantastic devices, both looking to appease different segments of the smartphone market.
We’ve already compared the two, and are waiting (impatiently) to get our hands on them. But if you’re wondering on where you can get one for yourself, we’ve rounded up the different places you can buy one.
Amazon
In terms of the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Amazon currently has all three color options available. This includes Phantom Black, Phantom Green, and Phantom Silver. There’s also an on-page trade-in program that you can take advantage of, saving you “up to $511” which will be added to your Amazon.com Gift Card balance. And in fact, there’s already a slight (super slight) discount on the 256GB Phantom Black Model.

Moving to the Galaxy Z Flip 3, again, Amazon has all three color options in stock. However, stocking levels are running low on the 256GB Phantom Black edition. But that’s for good reason, as you can save $50 on this model already bringing it in line with the pricing for the 128GB models.

Best Buy
Best Buy is the likely go-to for many outside of Amazon, as the big box store is carrying both devices, while also providing unlocked options to go along with carrier devices. Here are the various deals available through Best Buy

Verizon is jumping aboard the Fold 3 and Flip 3 train as Big Red is offering everything that Samsung announced today. If you’re interested in snagging one of Samsung’s new foldable phones, you’re in luck. Here’s a breakdown of the deals available from Verizon:
- Buy the Samsung Z Fold 3 or Samsung Flip 3 device and get up to $1000 off another.
- Add a smartphone (retail value over $699.99) with monthly device payments to your cart, then activate on a new smartphone line of service with Verizon Unlimited plans for up to $500 Virtual Prepaid Mastercard.
- Save $150 on Samsung Galaxy Watch with Android smartphone purchase. Online only.
T-Mobile
With T-Mobile, the Un-Carrier is offering up to $1,000 off when trading in an eligible device for the Galaxy Z Fold 3. Or you can get the Galaxy Z Flip 3 for absolutely free, again, dependent upon what device you end up trading in. Additionally, you’ll need to activate either device on a plan with Magenta MAX, Magenta Plus, or the T-Mobile ONE Plus plans. From there, the $1,000 credit will be applied over the course of 36 monthly bill credits.
AT&T
AT&T has a few different deals of its own if you’re in the market for a new foldable phone. You can pre-order any of Samsung’s announced devices through AT&T starting today, and here’s a breakdown of what offers are available:
- Get up to $1000 off the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G or Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G with an eligible trade-in when purchased on an installment plan and eligible unlimited plan. That means you can get the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G for FREE or the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G for $799.99.
- Get any Samsung accessory 50% off with a purchase of a Samsung connected device.
It’s pretty great to see AT&T give some love to existing customers, providing them with the same great offers as what new AT&T subscribers would have access to. Pricing remains the same with AT&T as it is with Verizon and elsewhere, and all of these devices will hit storefronts on August 27th.
Samsung
All of the great pre-order deals have expired now that the Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 are available. However, Samsung is still offering an incredible trade-in promotion on the Z Fold 3, offering up to $900 off, depending on the device that you are trading in. As for the Z Flip 3, the trade-in promotion is dropped just slightly, as Samsung is offering up to $600 for trade-ins.
