While we await the arrival of Fitbit’s next smartwatch (or fitness tracker), the company has announced a new color option for its flagship Sense and a collection of new bands. The Fitbit Sense is now available in a ‘Sage Grey’ colorway, which falls between the Gold color already available and what you might expect from a silver option.
Fitbit states that this was inspired by the “growing influence the wellness industry has on trends impacting fashion, home interiors, art, and design.” It has everything to do with providing a “sense of calm” with the shades of green and gray offering a muted design.
As for the bands, these are compatible with both the Fitbit Sense and Versa 3, which is a nice touch to give some love to the Versa fans out there. There are a total of seven new bands, as Fitbit is also adding the new Sage Grey to the list of already available options.
In addition, the Hook & Loop bands now come in ‘charcoal’ and ‘coastal blue’. Two new vegan leather bands arrive in ‘sand dollar’ and ‘seaglass’ for a “refined, polished look.” And finally, there are two new sport bands coming in ‘blush/desert bloom’ and ‘frost white/lunar white’.
All of these bands will work with the Versa 3 or the Fitbit Sense, so you won’t have to worry about getting a device-specific option. The new Sage Grey Fitbit Sense color option is available today and maintains the same $299 price tag as the other color options.
Fitbit will be releasing the different band options on August 25th, with the Infinity Band priced at $30, the Sport Bands and Hook & Loop bands priced at $35, and the Vegan Leather bands coming in at $50.
