What we actually bought on Prime Day (so far)

If you go to the Prime Day deals landing page on Amazon’s website, trying to navigate the abyss can feel rather daunting, but we’re doing everything we can to show off the best deals. But while we’re browsing around for deals to share, we’re also adding a few things here and there to our virtual carts. So instead of just sharing all of the deals, let’s dive into a few things that we actually bought during Prime Day.

Razer Charging Pad Chroma – $39.99 (Save $20)

Truth be told, I really don’t need any more wireless chargers, especially given the fact that I have the new OnePlus Warp Charger. However, wireless charging pucks are really convenient, and as I transition to using my PC more, I needed more RGB to pair up with my Razer Huntsman Mini and Razer Basilisk peripherals. And while there are wireless charging pads available for Prime Day that are much cheaper, those don’t have RGB and I need any advantage I can get to improve my performance.

Govee Smart LED Light Strips – $15.19 (Save 31%)

In order to take the awesome pictures that you see in my reviews, some of those are helped by some RGB lights that I have at my disposal. But I’ve been getting frustrated with the Philips Hue experience as of late, and Phandroid’s fearless leader highly recommends this light strip from Govee.

GameSir X2 Gaming Controller – $55.99 (Save $14)

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 continues to be one of my favorite devices to use when gaming on the go, or just sitting on the couch while my fiance watches Harry Potter for the millionth time. But the problem is that there aren’t a lot of controllers that can actually fit the Z Fold 2. While I do have a Bluetooth controller from Glap, the GameSir X2 trades in Bluetooth for a USB-C port to cut down on latency problems.

Sony WH-1000XM4 – $248 (Save $101.99)

I love my headphones and have more headphones in my arsenal than I care to admit. But I’ve been eyeing up the WH-1000XM4s for quite a while, and Prime Day was the perfect excuse to grab them. Being able to save $100 and get the best ANC in the business is just a combination that I couldn’t pass up on.

Anker PowerPort III Pod Lite 65W – $22.43 (Save $10.56)

No matter how many times I look around, I’m always trying to find just a basic USB-C wall charger. The PowerPort III Pod Lite features 65W of power, so it can charge my iPad Pro, Surface Pro X, smartphones, headphones, Xbox controller, and even my 2019 MacBook Pro. And with Anker, I know that I’m getting the same reliability and power that we’ve come to know over the years.
