Many of you might know OnePlus as being the maker of smartphones, but in 2019, the company actually expanded on their offerings by creating their own Android TV. If you forgot about that, we don’t blame you because for the most part, the company’s TVs have been exclusive to India.
For those who might be interested in getting their hands on the OnePlus TV, you might be in luck because the company plans on expanding its availability soon. This is according to OnePlus CEO who spoke to the media and confirmed that OnePlus has plans to expand on the release on its OnePlus TV models, particularly to the European market.
There was no mention of whether or not it could find its way to the US, but if they do expand to Europe, making it available in the US might not be that much of a stretch. There is currently no word on when this expansion is expected to take place, so for our readers in Europe, you’ll have to wait for a more official announcement.
In the meantime, OnePlus isn’t alone in trying to create their own TVs. Other companies such as Xiaomi have also been pushing out their own TVs, plus there are other more established budget brands like Vizio that OnePlus will have to compete with.
