Poco M3 Pro 5G design confirmed ahead of official reveal

0

Last year, Poco launched the Poco M3, a $150 budget smartphone that was honestly a true value for money handset. For those who feel that the phone is a bit underpowered, don’t worry because Poco is expected to follow up with a Pro version soon.

Recently leaked renders have shown off the phone’s design, but if you were wondering how accurate they were, it seems that they were right on the money. This is because Poco has since confirmed the design in a tweet themselves where they showed off the back portion of the phone.

As a quick recap for those who might have missed the news, the Poco M3 Pro 5G has been rumored to feature a 6.5-inch 1080p+ display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It will also pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging, and under the hood, it will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 chipset. Also given its name, there will be support for 5G.

Some have likened the Poco M3 Pro 5G to a rebadged/rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, you might even be able to get an idea of how the phone performs based on reviews of the Redmi handset if you’re curious. Poco is set to officially reveal the phone on the 19th of May, so check back with us for the official details.
