ZTE Axon 30 Ultra unboxing & camera test

The new ZTE Axon 30 Ultra is already available in a handful of markets, but it’ll soon be making its way to the US as well. While we are still waiting on the phone’s final price on this side of the pond, we’re expecting the phone to sell for around $1000, making it an additional option for those looking for a high-end smartphone.

Our upcoming review of the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra will give you a detailed look at the phone’s performance, software and cameras, but we thought we’d share our unboxing and initial camera test to give you an idea of what to expect from this phone.

ZTE hasn’t gotten a lot of attention in the high-end smartphone segment as of late, but we have a feeling that the Axon 30 Ultra will change that. The phone is running a Snapdragon 888 with a custom cooling system which should allow the chipset to perform optimally for longer. The phone also comes equipped with three 64MP camera sensors on the back in addition to an 8MP 5x periscope camera.

While the phone’s display is limited to a FHD+ resolution, ZTA’s thrown in a 144Hz refresh rate with 300Hz touch sampling which should make for a very smooth experience throughout the phone’s UI and while gaming.
