Now’s a good time to jump on the smartwatch train if you’ve been holding off. Alongside the announcement of the RedMagic 6 line, Nubia announced the RedMagic Watch, but it has not been available as of yet. That’s changed today, as you can now order the company’s latest product, and it’s priced at just $99.
The RedMagic Watch features a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 454 x 454, along with a variety of health-tracking sensors. These include a heart rate monitor, blood oxygen SpO2 sensor, along with the GH3011 to provide better activity tracking. Speaking of activity tracking, the RedMagic 6 is capable of tracking up to 16 different “Sport Modes”,
Battery Life should be of no concern, as Nubia claims that the RedMagic Watch will last for up to 15 days before needing a charge. This plummets to just 50 hours if you are regularly using the outdoor sports mode. You also won’t have to worry about taking it off in the shower or if you go for a swim thanks to the 5ATM waterproof rating.
As for the software, we have something of a proprietary interface, so you won’t be looking at this if you want a WearOS smartwatch. But the watch faces are customizable and can easily be changed if you want to switch things up to something different.
Perhaps the best part is that you don’t actually need to own the RedMagic 6 or 6 Pro in order to use the RedMagic Watch. You’ll just need to download the RedMagic Sports app, which is available on both iOS and Android. From there, just follow the prompts to pair your watch with your phone and you can get started.
Again, the RedMagic Watch is available to order today from the RedMagic website and is priced at just $99.
