It’s been a little while since we’ve heard a peep from Fitbit, especially after seeing the Google acquisition completed. If you were put off by the reception from the OnePlus Watch or just have been waiting for a new Fitbit, the wait is over. Earlier today, the company revealed its latest fitness tracker with the Fitbit Luxe.
The Fitbit Luxe seems like a more fashion-forward version of the ultra-popular Fitbit Inspire 2, which is a great option if you want a low-cost fitness tracker. However, while the Luxe takes design cues from the Inspire 2, there’s a lot going on in terms of being both fashionable and functional.

Starting off, the Luxe comes in four different color options, ranging from the elegant Lunar White / Soft Gold color-way, and going to the more boring Black and Graphite colors.
There’s an AMOLED color display to provide the time, along with viewing all of the notifications and health metrics recorded. Fitbit includes a slim band that is of a “chic design”, and will surely match up nicely with your dinner outfit.
As for what you can expect from health tracking, you’ll be able to track just about everything you can imagine with the Luxe. This includes the following (and more):
There are even more features included, along with the ability to keep track of your stress levels. With the Luxe on your wrist, you will be notified of things you can do to bring your stress levels down throughout the day. It will also be able to keep track of your sleep, and breathing rates, along with providing guided breathing exercises.
Fitbit claims that the Luxe will feature a large-enough battery to keep it charged and going for up to five days. There’s even Google Fast Pair onboard, so you can get through the setup process faster than ever before.
If you’re intrigued enough by the Fitbit Luxe, and aren’t really impressed with the other fitness tracking options, then you can pre-order the Luxe today. The standard version of the Fitbit Luxe can be pre-ordered from Fitbit directly for $149.99. The company also confirmed that there is a “Special Edition” version arriving in June for $199.99.
The Luxe is expected to launch on later this Spring, and will include six months of Fitbit Premium for free. Perhaps best of all, if you don’t care about pre-ordering, the Luxe should be available from most of your favorite Big Box stores like Amazon and Best Buy.
