OPPO’s answer the Galaxy S21 is coming on March 11th

In a world where we are seeing more devices that are all practically the same when it comes to power, phone makers are starting to provide more focus on different aspects. The latest of which comes with the upcoming OPPO Find X3, which the company will be officially unveiling on March 11th.

Stopping short of simply sharing all of the specs, OPPO took some time to share some teasers for what you should expect. The Find X3 series will be officially unveiled during a YouTube live stream starting on March 11th at 630AM.

As expected, the Find X3 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, which will be found in many of the flagship devices launched over the course of 2021. We’ve already seen a few smartphones released with the SD888, including the Galaxy S21 and Xiaomi Mi 11, both of which seem to prove this processor to be a pretty great update over the last flagship Qualcomm chipset.

But the focus of the Find X3 Pro won’t be the power under the hood. Instead, OPPO is providing more of a focus on the company’s Full-path Colour Management System. This was announced at OPPO INNO Day 2020, and aims to provide “integrity at ever point when it comes to color”.

The results are true-to-life, evocative, rich visual experiences, from capture, to encoding, storage, decoding and display. Find X smartphones have always been ahead of the curve, combining human-centric design with OPPO’s unwavering passion for innovation to benefit humankind.

OPPO’s Find X2 Pro was considered one of the best phones of 2020, with its 6.7-inch AMOLED display, with OPPO’s Ultra Vision 120Hz display. So we can expect to see something similar with X3 Pro’s display.

OPPO Find X3 Pro Rumors

Rumors surrounding the Find X3 lineup suggests that there will be a total of three devices introduced: Find X3 Neo, Find X3 Pro, and Find X3 Lite. The X3 Pro will be the flagship of the group, and is said to feature a 6.7-inch 1440p display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Charging will be one of the most exciting aspects with the ability to fast charge at 65W, while wireless charging speeds will be bumped up to 30W, with compatible wireless chargers.

Supposedly, the Find X3 Pro could make use of a 50MP wide-angle lens, 50MP ultra-wide, 13MP camera with 2x zoom, and a 3MP macro camera. It’s been suggested that this 3MP macro camera could provide up to a 25x zoom.

We aren’t sure exactly when the OPPO Find X3 will be released, or how much it will cost. However, the wait is almost over, as the official unveiling is about a week and a half away from now.
