Upcoming Samsung Galaxy A72 could be one of the most value for money phones for 2021

When you think of smartphone features like fast refresh rates for the display and support for 5G, you might think of a flagship phone. For the most part, you wouldn’t be wrong in assuming that, but Samsung could change our perception with their upcoming Galaxy A72 that has yet to be officially announced.

A report from WinFuture.de has revealed the alleged specs of the phone and assuming they’re correct, we’re looking at a mid-ranger that will pack some flagship-like features. This includes a display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a quad-camera setup.

Granted, it might not be the most powerful phone we’ve seen to date, but if you’re on a budget or refuse to spend $1,000 on a smartphone, then the Galaxy A72 makes a serious case for being truly value for money. Other alleged specs of the phone include a quad camera setup on the back with a 64MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, an 8MP telephoto lens, and a 2MP macro lens.

It will also feature a 32MP front-facing camera, a 5,000mAh battery, and IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. It is also rumored to cost around €449. There are also rumors suggesting that a 5G variant could be in the works, but there’s no word on pricing of that version just yet.
