With the iPhone 12, Apple actually introduced an accessibility feature where you can double or triple tap the back of your phone to perform a command. It’s actually pretty cool and can be useful for certain things.
- Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch
- Scroll down and select Back Tap
- Choose the actions your phone performances you either double or triple tap on the back of it
