The Google Pixel 4a 5G may not be the phone most of us crave when new devices like Samsung’s Galaxy S21 hitting the market in about a week. That being said, it’s really hard to pass up on the phone’s newly-discounted price tag of $459.
The discount on the Pixel 4a 5G is $40 off from the usual $499 that the phone goes for, making it one of the best mid-range smartphones you can currently buy. While the phone shares a name with the Pixel 4a, the device shares more similarities with the $700 Pixel 5. The Snapdragon 765 that powers the phone is extremely capable and the dual-cameras on the back are identical to what Google is offering on its higher-end model. All you’re really missing out on is an extra 2GB of RAM, an official IP rating and a higher refresh rate display.
The discount is being offered at multiple retailers, including Amazon (with Prime shipping) and the Google Store. The $459 discounted price of the Pixel 4a 5G will likely only be available for a week before it jumps back to its usual price.
