It has been reported for a while that Samsung will be hosting a Galaxy Unpacked event in the early part of 2021. This is expected to see Samsung officially announce their latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S21 series. Turns out the rumors were right because Samsung has since officially started to send out invites to the event.
The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event is currently set for the 14th of January, 2021 where the company will begin livestreaming the announcement at 10AM ET / 7AM PT. There will be a livestream available either through the company’s YouTube page or directly through its website, so you can pick from either source depending on your preference.
The Galaxy S21 announcement should be rather exciting as the rumors have suggested that the S Pen will be one of its key features and selling point, a feature that used to be exclusive to the Galaxy Note series (which may or may not be discontinued this year). Bringing wider S Pen support will no doubt increase its appeal for those who prefer the S-series over the Note-series.
There will, of course, be other various improvements and changes, like a new and more powerful Exynos chipset, new cameras, and more, so be sure to check back with us in the coming weeks for more details about the phone.
