Samsung Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Fold 2 launch date leaked

0

Now that the Samsung Galaxy S20 phones have been launched, many are no doubt anticipating what the company has up their sleeves next, which will be the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Fold 2. So, the question is, when will these phones be announced? Turns out it won’t be too long until we learn more about them.

According to a post made on Weibo, it has been suggested that Samsung will be hosting an Unpacked event on the 5th of August, 2020. Apparently at this event, the company will be officially revealing its Galaxy Note 20 series and the Galaxy Fold 2 handsets. In addition to these devices, Samsung will apparently be launching the 5G version of the Galaxy Z Flip, the Galaxy Tab 7, the Galaxy Tab 7+, and a new Galaxy Watch wearable.

While nothing has been confirmed, it shouldn’t really come as a surprise. This is because Samsung usually hosts a second Unpacked event in the second half of the year, and with the Galaxy Note 10 launching in August 2019, the Note 20 arriving in August 2020 makes a lot of sense and isn’t entirely out of the question.

We’ll be waiting to see if Samsung has any comments to make about the launch, and also whether or not this will be a launch held in person. With the coronavirus pandemic, many companies have opted to cancel their physical events, although some like Apple have chosen to host online-only events, so it will be interesting to see how Samsung will approach this.
