Motorola hasn’t produced a flagship in some time, and it’s a real shame because they used to make some great smartphones. They were a pioneer of Android back in the day and instrumental to its rise, and we want to see Motorola rise again.
Luckily it looks like they’re cooking up something high end once again. The company tweeted that they will be holding an online event called the “Motorola Flagship Launch” and it has us quite excited.
The device in store is likely the Motorola Edge+, as the teaser video shows a heavily curved screen. We’ve seen the device leak before and it looks pretty awesome. The alleged specs are a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with curved edges, a Snapdragon 865 processor, 8GB or 12GB of RAM, a triple camera with a 108MP main sensor, and a 5,000 mAh battery.
The event is set to start at 11 AM central on April 22. Motorola will likely release more information about the event soon, but it’s online only for obvious reasons.
