Samsung has recently confirmed that they will be hosting a Galaxy Unpacked event on the 11th of February. This event will most likely see Samsung take the wraps off one of their 2020 flagship smartphones, which last we heard could be known as the Galaxy S20.
Now thanks to leaked information shared by Ishan Agarwal with the folks at MySmartPrice, it has revealed the existence of a variant of the Galaxy S20 lineup known as the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G. This could very well be the top of the line model for the Galaxy S20 lineup and based on the leaks, it packs some pretty over-the-top camera specs.
According to Agarwal, the handset could be using a 108MP main camera and could also sport a periscope camera that will apparently allow up to 100x hybrid zoom (presumably this means that we’re looking at a mix of both optical and digital zoom). Also, as the name suggests, this model could also come with support for 5G connectivity.
As for the rest of the specs, the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G could more or less be similar to the other Galaxy S20 models, with its display size rumored to be 6.7-inches which will make it the same as the Galaxy S20+.
Needless to say that this should be taken with a grain of salt for now, but we should have all the official details in the next month or so.
