Flo by Moen Smart Water Detector will help you to save water at home

0

Water is not an infinite source which is why many have been advocating for years that we should not waste it. Sometimes, this wastage can be unintentional where due to a leak in our homes, water might be leaking for a faulty pipe, which in addition to wasting water can also potentially lead to water damage in our homes.

If you’d like to prevent that from happening, then you might want to check out the Flo by Moen Smart Water Detector, which is a sensor that can detect moisture to let users know if there could be a leak in their home. The sensor is pretty small around 3.5-inches and users will be able to place it anywhere in their homes that they think could be vulnerable to water damage.

The sensor will be able to pick up on moisture as well as freezing temperatures and high humidity, and should a leak be detected, it will alert users through their smartphones in the form of a notification. When combined with the Flo by Moen Smart Water Shutoff tool, it will also be able to automatically shut off the water source if a leak has been detected, which can be useful if you’re traveling overseas and might not be home to deal with it.

The sensor is currently available for pre-order via Flo’s website for $49.99 for a single sensor, or $129.99 for a pack of three. The Flo by Moen Smart Water Shutoff will be sold separately at $499.99.
