New images of the upcoming Honor Watch Magic 2 have surfaced, giving us a good look at what the upcoming smartwatch will look like. While most leaks come from anonymous sources, the images show there were shared by Honor with TechRadar, though no real details of the watch’s internal specifications were revealed.
As shown in the photos, the body of the Honor Watch Magic 2 has been redesigned, resulting in a shorter dial around the display, making the overall look of the watch much smaller. The overall look is a bit more refined than the first-generation watch, suggesting a slightly higher price point which shouldn’t be too much of an issue since the first watch sold for less than $200.
Like its predecessor, the Honor Watch Magic 2 is expected to run on Huawei’s Lite OS which isn’t nearly as powerful as Wear OS, but it allows for 4-6 days of battery life on a single charge with continuous heart rate monitoring turned on for better sleep and fitness tracking.
Honor is expected to unveil the new smartwatch on November 26th in Beijing alongside the Honor V30 smartphone. Due to the current tensions between Huawei and the U.S. government, there’s little chance that we’ll see the Honor Watch Magic 2 over here, but there are plenty of options if you’re willing to import it directly from China or Europe.
