Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite could be in the works
Earlier this year when the Samsung Galaxy S10 was launched, the company launched a cheaper variant of the phone known as the Galaxy S10e, but it seems that the Galaxy S10e might not be the only cheaper version of the Galaxy S10 because thanks to a sighting on Geekbench, there could be a Galaxy S10 Lite in the works.
According to the Geekbench results, it was revealed that the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and comes with 8GB of RAM. It also comes with Android 10 onboard, suggesting that this is not an older device. Those are actually pretty decent specs so we’re not sure different it would be from the regular Galaxy S10, or why it would be considered a “Lite” model.
It has even been rumored that the phone might come with a triple camera setup, something that we don’t usually see on budget handsets. It is possible that the display could be the more budget side of the phone, where it has been rumored that it could feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ screen.
Take these benchmark results with a grain of salt for now and hopefully we’ll have more details soon, but it does seem a bit odd for Samsung to announce the phone so late into the year.
