The dual-screen LG G8X is heading to Sprint on November 8th!

The dual-screen LG G8X is officially making its way to Sprint customers on November 8th. While the folding smartphone is dramatically different than what Samsung is offering with the Galaxy Fold, the LG G8X and its detachable second display offer just as much power and versatility. The phone is rocking a 6.4-inch display, a SD855, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a 4,000 mAh battery and a dual-camera system on the back with a standard and ultra-wide sensor.

The phone will be selling for $31.21 per month with Sprint’s 18-month Flex leas program, but if you’re eligible for an upgrade, a new customer or simply want to add a new line, you can get the phone for $15 per month. To sweeten the deal, Sprint is also throwing in the second display accessory for free. The limited-time offer will run through January 9th, but Sprint customers will need to redeem the offer after they purchase the device and it could take up to six weeks for the second display to show up.

We had an opportunity to play with the phone at IFA back in September. While the device wasn’t quite ready for primetime, the software configurations that LG was showing off with the second display seemed to be a lot more appealing that what Samsung is offering with the Galaxy Fold. Granted, the two devices are completely different in their design and execution, but they both deliver a much larger and more versatile display configuration than most smartphones.
