T-Mobile postpaid customers can now start using eSIMs

Carriers such as T-Mobile have actually been a tad slow in adopting the tech, where for the good half of the year, it was only available to iPhone users on prepaid. Thankfully, if you’re a postpaid customer on T-Mobile’s network, the carrier has announced support for postpaid eSIM as well.
If you have an eSIM-capable smartphone, you will be able to head on over to your local T-Mobile store and get it activated. In case you’re wondering why you should, this is because if your phone also supports dual SIM, freeing up the physical SIM card slot will make it easier for you to use a new SIM card when you travel.
This is because not all countries around the world support eSIM yet and many still rely on physical SIMs, so if you can free up the physical slot, you’ll be able to have your own line active together with the new line. It also means that in theory, you could have more than one carrier active on your phone at once, such as AT&T, Sprint, or Verizon.
