When Samsung launched the 5G version of the Galaxy S10 earlier this year, it was a completely different beast from the other Galaxy S10 models. One of the main differences was how it came with a quad-camera setup on the back, which is something that we have been hearing that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 could adopt as well.
Unfortunately, that might not be the case. According to a recent image shared by leakster Evan Blass (protected tweets), it seems that the upcoming 5G version of the Note 10 will come with a triple camera setup on the back. The image (see below) refers to it as the Note 10+ 5G and it also seems to bear Verizon’s branding.
This is in line with what we have been hearing in which Verizon is expected to get an exclusive with the 5G version of the handset. We expect that this exclusivity will not be permanent, similar to the 5G Galaxy S10 which would also later go on to be made available at other carriers as well.
At this point we’re not sure if there is even going to be a Note 10 model with a quad camera, as all the leaks we’ve seen to date have shown off a phone with a triple camera. In any case, the official details will be revealed in the coming weeks at Samsung’s event scheduled for the 7th of August, so be sure to check back with us then for more updates.
