The on-screen navigation buttons on the Huawei P9 work perfectly fine, but you can change their order or add an extra button which will pull down the notification panel. To customize the navigation buttons on your phone, go to Settings > Smart assistance > Navigation bar and choose the desired layout. You don’t have complete control over where the buttons appear, but four options are better than none.
