OnePlus 7 Pro versus Pixel 3a speedtest — can the Pixel keep up?

The Pixel 3a and OnePlus 7 Pro are quite different, but the intent behind the two phones was born from the notion that you don’t need to pay flagship smartphone prices to get flagship-tier features. The Pixel 3a’s approach gives users an incredible camera while the OnePlus 7 Pro crams in ultimate power and performance. While Google’s device is more than adequate for daily user, we were curious to see what the performance differences were between these two phones.

The OnePlus 7 Pro has the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and the model we have on hand is equipped with 12GB of RAM. On top of that OnePlus is also using UFS 3.0 storage which is significantly faster than the older variant. Google’s Pixel 3a is clearly positioned as a mid-range device thanks to its Snapdragon 670 chipset and 4GB of RAM.

There’s little doubt as to which device will be victorious here, but you might be surprised by the Pixel 3a. Let us know what you think of the final results and if you would rather have the power of the Oneplus 7 Pro or the Pixel 3a as your daily driver.
