Samsung Galaxy S10 5G now available on Verizon
Samsung kind of surprised everyone earlier this year when they launched the Galaxy S10 series. This is because, for the first time ever, the company had created multiple variants of the handset where not only was there a budget version, a regular version, a plus version, but there was also a 5G version, each of which came with different specs and features.
Now, if the 5G Galaxy S10 caught your attention, you’ll be pleased to learn that you’ll be able to purchase the handset directly from Verizon. This is on the heels of pre-orders that were opened last month. There were also rumors that the handset could be going on sale on the 16th of May, which we now know to be true.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G will be priced at $1,300 which doesn’t make it the cheapest smartphone around, but according to Verizon, you could get up to $650 back. This comes in the form of up to $450 in trade-in value when you bring in an eligible smartphone, and also an additional $200 that comes in the form of a prepaid Mastercard if you are switching from a different carrier and sign up for the Verizon Unlimited Plan.
This should bring the cost of the phone down significantly if you are able to meet all those requirements. For those who aren’t a fan of Verizon and prefer using a different carrier, the handset is currently a timed-exclusive to Verizon but it is expected to eventually find its way to other carriers in the future.
