April Fools! Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10 won’t feature a 192MP camera with 100x hybrid zoom

Very early this morning, @UniverseIce shared a Tweet which got quite a few people excited for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 10. While Samsung’s new phones have been using 12MP camera sensors for the past few years, the report claimed that the Note 10 would feature a crazy 192MP camera sensor which measures 1/1.2 inches. If that wasn’t enough, it would also offer 100x optical hybrid zoom, trouncing the 50x optical hybrid zoom which we just saw at the unveiling of the Huawei P30 Pro.

While Samsung’s Note series typically does come with a few hardware breakthroughs, the specs mentioned by @UniverseIce will most likely not be included on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10. If you haven’t checked your calendar, today is April 1st.

The Tweet was technically posted at 11:24 PM last night, but we find it pretty hard to take a post like this seriously when it was posted 36 minutes before April Fools Day. If you were fooled by the Tweet, we’re sorry that we’ve shattered your dreams.
