Samsung-Unpacked-Galaxy-February-2019

Samsung Galaxy S10’s release date hinted at in new photos

The Samsung Galaxy S10 will be officially revealed on the 20th of February, 2019 ahead of MWC 2019. That much we already know. However there is the question of when the phone will be made available? Based on Samsung’s release habits in the past, this should in theory take place a couple of weeks after the phone’s reveal.

There is a chance that Samsung will not deviate from their usual plan because according to freshly leaked renders obtained by 91mobiles, they are sharing images of the upcoming Galaxy S10 which as you can see in the image below, has the screen turned on with a date on its display that reads the 8th of March.

This has led to speculation that the 8th of March could be when the phone will be made available for purchase, although whether this date is for specific markets or if it could be a simultaneous worldwide release remains to be seen. At the same time, this date makes sense as it is similar to Samsung’s previous releases, such as last year’s Samsung Galaxy S9 which was also announced in February followed by a release in March.

That being said, Samsung’s upcoming flagships aren’t expected to be cheap. If the previously leaked pricings of the phone are any indication, customers might have to fork out a pretty penny to get their hands on it. There is even a rumored 1TB variant of the Galaxy S10+ that could potentially cost around $1,800, so do prepare to pay if the Galaxy S10 is on your wishlist for 2019.
