There are a lot of gaming accessories for smartphones, but the new Stratus Duo from SteelSeries is a bit unique, offering a full-size, multi-platform controller which is compatible with Android smartphones and PC. This means you’ll be able to use the Stratus Duo while playing PUBG Mobile on your Android device throughout the day and then use it again when you’re sitting in front of your PC at night.
The Stratus Duo features 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth and wired connections in an effort to offer compatibility with as many smartphones, tablets or computers as possible. SteelSeries has also made sure that the Stratus Duo is also Steam-enabled, making it compatible with thousands of controller-enabled games available on the Steam catalog.
The design of the Stratus Duo is similar to that of the Stratus XL, but its trigger design has been modified with Magnetic Hall Effect sensors that keep triggers consistent and precise. It also features clickable analog joystick and the usual d-pad and four buttons on the front.
The Stratus Duo is also compatible with the SteelSeries SmartGrip which allow you to mount your smartphone to the back of the controller. On its own, the Stratus Duo costs $59.99 on Amazon, but the SteelSeries SmartGrip is a $10 add-on. Both can be purchased on Amazon
