Archos just announced an Android-powered electric scooter

0

You may recognize the name Archos from the plethora of dirt cheap Android tablets and phones they released back in the day. Archos still makes Android devices, but they have also branched out to other genres. One such product is an electric scooter with a built-in Android phone on the handlebar. It’s called the Archos Citee Connect and it will be shown off at MWC this year.

The scooter has an aluminum frame, 8.5-inch wheels, a range of about 15 miles on a single charge, and can reach speeds of 15 MPH. The phone has a 5-inch display, 3G for mobile connectivity, and Android Oreo. The software has been customized for the scooter experience. Citee Connect will go on sale in April for around $500 and it will bump up in price in the summer.
