YouTube TV is about to be more expensive with addition of TNT, TBS, Cartoon Network, CNN, and more

YouTube TV launched almost a year ago and while it’s easily one of the best options out there for folks looking to cut the cord. They still have some growing to do, whether that’s expanding to new markets or building out their ongoing list of supported channels, something we’re seeing today.

Joining YouTube TV’s already robust lineup are a handful of new channels from Turner that include, TNT, TBS, Cartoon Network, CNN, Turner Classic Movies, and more. YouTube TV is also gaining access to NBA TV and the MLB Network for sports buffs.

In some not-so-great news, the new channels are also coming with a small price hike. YouTube TV will now run $40 a month starting on March 13th for new customers. Current customers — are those that sign up before March 13th — can lock-in the cheaper $35 pricing, with no change to their bill once the price goes up.

YouTube TV can now be found in over 40 markets in the US, with more being added in the future. A good deal of major metropolitan areas are already covered and to see if YouTube TV is available in your area, check out the list below:
