Of all the names mentioned surrounding MWC 2018, one name that we haven’t said much about is ZTE. The company has been in the headlines over the last couple of weeks after it was confirmed that the ultra-popular Axon 7 would finally be getting a successor.
While the Axon 9 is not expected to make its debut in Barcelona later this month, ZTE is reportedly planning to announce the Blade V9 at the event. Not much about this device will be flashy, save for the new 5.7-inch FHD+ display with an 18:9 resolution.
Powering the Blade V9 will be the Snapdragon 450 chipset, which will be combined with between 2GB and 4GB of RAM along with 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB of expandable storage. Additionally, we are expecting to see an included 3,200mAh battery along with Android 8.0 Oreo in-tow.
As for the cameras, the Blade V9 is said to feature a 13MP selfie camera, along with dual-rear cameras. There will be a primary 16MP sensor and a secondary 5MP sensor found on the rear of the device.
We don’t know much else about pricing or availability, but the Blade V9 will likely make its debut in just a couple of weeks. Be sure to let us know what you think about this device in the comments below.
