Late last year, we began hearing rumbles of Xiaomi’s next flagship, the Xiaomi Mi 7. During the keynote of the Qualcomm Summit where the SD845 was announced, Xiaomi took the stage to confirm that the companies next device, the XIaomi Mi 7, will be powered by the latest chipset.
However, we haven’t really heard much else of the device since, but now a new leak may reveal some key features of the upcoming device. A new image has been shared which shows that the Mi 7 will feature a dual-camera system on the rear of the device, coupled with an LED flash of sorts.
Additionally, the image shows off a glass panel being used as the housing for the Mi 7, which could mean that wireless charging will finally be arriving on the device. This comes after the company confirmed that it plans to use wireless charging in its “next flagship”, but this is also likely a move we will see from more OEM’s in 2018.
Unfortunately, we still don’t know much about what to expect on the spec-front, other than the fact that the Mi 7 will include a 6-inch OLED display (made by Samsung) and the aforementioned Snapdragon 845 chipset. With Xiaomi already confirming its presence at MWC 2018, this is when we can expect to see the company officially unveil its 2018 flagship.
Let us know what you think about the Xiaomi Mi 7 in the comments, and if you’re excited to see what the company has in store for this year.
