Pokémon GO Community Days bring exclusive captures every month

0

Let’s get this out of the way. Yes, people still play Pokemon GO. Cool? Okay.

Niantic is kicking off a new event in Pokemon GO aimed at growing the community and helping players make new friends. The event is called “Community Day,” and it will happen once a month from here on out. The event will only last a few hours, but players will be able to catch special Pokemon with exclusive moves.

There will be other bonuses during the event such as increased XP, extra stardust, and prolonged Lure Modules. The real prize is the exclusive Pokemon, but you’ll only have 3 hours to find one. The first Community Day is January 20th from 11 AM to 2 PM PT. Community Days are supposed to be about community, but Raids, the one feature that requires other players, is absent from the event.
