The Lava Red OnePlus 5T will go on sale in India later this month

OnePlus is having some fun as it has just released (then promptly sold out) the new Sandstone White version of the OnePlus 5T. However, if you’ve been paying attention to Twitter over the last couple of days, some of your favorite content creators may have shared images of a new OnePlus 5T in Red.

Well, earlier today, OnePlus announced the new Lava Red color variant of the OnePlus 5T, while also stating that this device will be coming exclusively to India later this month. This special edition device will be priced around $595, and on top of the other flagship specs, this variant will also include 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

This means that you won’t be able to get the “cheaper” option which features just 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Nonetheless, everything about this special OnePlus 5T is exactly the same as the version you can get elsewhere in the world, save for that gorgeous Lava Red color.

For those in India who want to jump on this one, registrations for this device are available now over at Amazon.in, and the device will officially go on sale on January 20th. Unfortunately, the company did not make any mention as to whether this Lava Red device will be coming to other markets, but this may be like the Star Wars version which never made it to the US.
