Moto Z2 Force on T-Mobile is now receiving Android 8.0 Oreo

0

And just like that, Motorola continues with their track record of speedy Android updates. A few short days ago, the Moto Z2 Force on Verizon started receiving an update to Android 8.0 Oreo and that update is now officially hitting T-Mobile variants as well. The T-Mobile Moto Z2 Force is currently on Android 7.1.1 (version NCX26.3) with the July 1, 2017 security patch.

The update going out will bring the device up to Android 8.0.0 (version OCX27) and December’s security patch. The update is still in the process of rolling out, so it could be a few hours/days before it hits your phone. To manually check for the update, you can pull it by going into Settings > About phone > System updates. Cheers.
