OnePlus 6 could launch in March with under-glass fingerprint sensor

0

The OnePlus 5T just launched in November, but the next OnePlus phone is not far away. OnePlus typically has a bi-annual release cycle. The single number model is released in the summer and the “T” model in the winter. However, new information claims OnePlus could be moving the OnePlus 6 launch up to March.

The source claims the phone will be announced in mid-March and launched by the end of the month. There’s no reason given for why OnePlus would want to push up the release. It probably has to do with the second part of the rumor, which says the phone will have an under-glass fingerprint sensor. OnePlus might want to rush the phone out to be the first with this technology.

How do you feel about OnePlus launching a new phone just 4 months after the OnePlus 5T? Is it worth it for the under-glass fingerprint sensor?
