Fitbit has been continuing to struggle over the course of 2017, but that hasn’t stopped the company from releasing a new smartwatch back in August. The Fitbit Ionic is based on the company’s proprietary software, meaning that it doesn’t run Android Wear, however, there is a dedicated app store to help improve the overall user experience.
One of the big reasons why some folks may be turned off to the Fitbit Ionic, other than its looks, is the price – $300. For a newcomer to the smartwatch space, this may seem a bit high, but for the first time since the release of the Ionic, you can save a few bucks.
Currently, Amazon is offering $30 off the Fitbit Ionic, bringing the price down to just $269.99. However, if you’re an Amazon Prime subscriber, there’s a chance that you can save an extra 15%, bringing the final price down to about $255.
This is a great deal on this smartwatch/fitness tracker hybrid, especially for one from a company with the reputation of Fitbit. Hit the button below to pick one up for yourself, and let us know if you’ve decided to do so!
