With recent releases, LG has been on point with its pre-order goodies that have been offered with its devices. For example, with the LG G6, the company offered a free Google Home while carriers offered things such as smart TVs and more.
It seems that with the LG V30, we are in for some more free stuff after a promotion leak revealed that LG will be offering the “new” Daydream View VR headset and a “VR Content Package by Google”. This was found by a Reddit user, who shared the screenshot of the promotion which shows off the Daydream View headset alongside the upcoming V30.
As a reminder, we saw a few leaks which revealed that Google is working on revamping the Daydream View VR headset, with some subtle changes. This new headset is not expected to be earth-shattering but will carry a higher price tag compared to its predecessor ($129).
Then, AT&T released a promotional video which confirmed that the company would be offering its “Second Year Promise” for the V30. This will extend the standard one-year warranty, provided that the owner of the device registers it within 90 days of purchase.
Currently, the websites that were listed in both advertisements are not loading, or are redirecting to LG’s home page. However, there has still been no mention of pricing or availability information for those of us here in the US.
But on the bright side, we can expect to learn more information about the V30 in the coming days/weeks. Hopefully, it will be sooner rather than later so that we can get our hands on LG’s true flagship for 2017.
