Netflix better watch out: Hulu and Spotify just might have launched the best value in online entertainment. Folks signing up for Spotify’s Premium Student plan — a $4.99 all-you-can-eat buffet of tunes — will also get access to Hulu’s Limited Commercials plan.
That’s one $5 per month charge for access to both these plans. That’s nuts.
Of course, this is only exciting news for students or those who know students who don’t mind letting you use their credentials for these types of deals, but Spotify did announce that similar bundle offers are coming that will look to aim the broader market.
Here’s the only bit of fine print we can find in terms of specific eligibility:
Undergraduate students, enrolled in a U.S. Title IV accredited college or university, who are already a Spotify Premium for Student subscriber, should access their Spotify accounts to switch their plan to Spotify Premium for Students, now with Hulu. New student subscribers can visit spotify.com/us/student to learn more and sign-up.
That basically covers just about any legit school you’re going to find. Sign up, and enjoy!
