Google Maps will soon get full Picture-in-Picture mode

0

One of the main new features of Android Oreo is picture-in-picture mode. It works pretty much like picture-in-picture mode on your TV. Apps can be minimized into small floating windows. Right now, it doesn’t work with very many apps, but Google Maps will soon join the list.

Picture-in-picture was added to Google Maps a couple of weeks ago, but it wasn’t fully functioning until last week. It’s working better now, but it’s still not perfect. That’s because more functionality is rolling out soon according to a Pixel community manager. It should work perfectly when the full features are available.
