As is usual with these natural disasters, the carrier powers that be want to knock down any barriers you may have in trying to contact your loved ones. The same is happening with the recent carnage left behind by Hurricane Harvey in Texas and Louisiana.

Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon are all making it possible for those in the areas affected to contact their friends and family without incurring any charges or eating up usage pools.
