It seems that Samsung just can’t keep the cat in the bag when it comes to the Galaxy Note 8, as we have been seeing an influx of information being shared. Earlier today, we learned about some new software improvements that will arrive in the latest version of Samsung Experience (formerly TouchWiz).
Now, we’re learning more about the Galaxy Note 8’s spec sheet, and a possible new color option. Starting off with the spec sheet, the device was found on AnTuTu Benchmark, but this version was the International variant, which is powered by the Exynos 8895 SoC.
As you can see from the screenshot above, the International Note 8 will carry a model number of SM-N950F, while featuring Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. The Exynos 8895 will be at the helm, alongside the Mali-G71 GPU for powering your graphics.
Also included in these benchmark results is the fact that the Note 8 will include 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. While there is already a variant of the Galaxy S8 released in China which features 6GB of RAM, the Note 8 is said to be the first globally launched Samsung device with this amount.
Additionally, we can see that the Note 8 will feature a screen resolution of 2220×1080, which all but confirms the inclusion of an Infinity Display. And the final piece of information shared from AnTuTu is the 8MP front camera, along with a 12MP rear sensor.
Many of the renders that we’ve seen recently confirm that the Note 8 will feature dual-rear camera sensors, but AnTuTu Benchmark application has not been updated with support to identify these sensors.

In addition to learning more about the Note 8’s international variant, good ole’ Evan Blass was back at it again, giving us a look at a different color variant. This time around, we’re seeing the Note 8 in “Deep Sea Blue”, but you can’t really tell except for the S Pen, and if you look really closely at the top edge of the render.
It wouldn’t be crazy to think that Samsung would bring another new color variant on board with its latest device, as we’ve seen Samsung make this move before. However, I know that I’m excited that Samsung is keeping the front display panels black versus white, because it makes for a more immersive experience when checking out videos or other content.
Let us know what you think about these latest leaks, and if you’re pumped for next week’s Galaxy Note 8 launch event.
