Honor Note 9 specs leak suggest 6GB RAM, 4,600mAh battery

Huawei’s Honor brand took on the Galaxy Note 7 series last year with the Honor Note 8 and it appears to be poised to do the same this year with the Honor Note 9. The Honor Note 8 was unveiled almost exactly a year ago today, so it’s no surprise that we’re starting to see leaks for the successor courtesy of Chinese social network, Weibo.

The specs suggest the phone will feature an upgraded Kirin 965 processor, 6GB of RAM, and a huge 4,600mAh battery to power it all. There have been no rumors about display size just yet, so we don’t know if the Honor Note 9 will feature the same 6.6-inch massive display that we saw on last year’s model. However, the leak does seem to indicate that it will feature an edge-to-edge bezel-less display.

Honor has no events scheduled this month, so perhaps we’ll see the follow-up to the Honor Note 8 unveiled at IFA 2017 in September.

What do you think of this leak? Does a massive device with a huge battery interest you at all? Let us know in the comments.
