New Andorid security patch files have been posted for several devices for the month of June. That includes downloads for the Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel C, Nexus 5X, and Nexus 6P. Nexus 6, Nexus 9, and Nexus Players users are also getting hooked up today.
As usual, you can grab either the OTA files or the factory images. The former allows you to flash it over your current installation, while a factory image will wipe your hardware clean for a fresh start. We recommend going the OTA route if you don’t want to have to go through the pains of setting up a new device.
In any case, the download links and instructions can be had at Google’s website, along with full instructions on how to get going with them. If you don’t mind waiting for it, then you can also sit tight and wait for the OTA to hit your phone naturally. For those who want the details on which holes were plugged, park it here.
