The LG G6 was launched just a couple of months ago, but it seems LG is working on releasing some new variants in its home of South Korea. According to Android Authority through a South Korean news outlet, the LG G6 Plus and LG G6 Pro will be coming to the country by the end of the month.
There aren’t many differences between these devices and the regular LG G6 which is already available, but it seems that LG is throwing some extra features in. The LG G6 Plus is said to feature wireless charging and 128GB base storage while being priced slightly higher (~$890) than the standard G6 (~$800).
The real question mark comes regarding the LG G6 Pro, as it is said to feature many of the same specs as the standard G6, including 32GB of storage. Considering the fact that it will reportedly cost less (~$700) than its brother, it’s unknown what features will be removed from the device to warrant the lower price.
Regardless, both devices are expected to launch with the Snapdragon 821 SoC, 4GB of RAM, and the same display as their brethren. As for availability, the G6 Pro and G6 Plus are said to launch in South Korea by the end of June, while being made in more markets at a later time.
Let us know whether you would be interested in snagging an LG G6 Pro or Plus or if you would just hold out for the OnePlus 5.
