Last week saw the Honor 9 pass through China’s TENAA certifications, meaning that the device is close to being released into the wild. Now, we are getting our first look at the press invitation that Honor is sending out to different outlets for an event on June 12th in Shanghai, China.
The invitation doesn’t really give any hints to what the device will be capable of, instead, revealing the naming moniker for the Honor 9. When the device passed through TENAA, the listing gave us a pretty good idea as to what the spec sheet would look like for the device.
Considering that this is only an incremental upgrade from the Honor 8, we are expecting to see the price settle around $300. However, that would likely be for the base model with 4GB of RAM, as there the possibility of another model coming with 6GB of RAM which will be priced higher.
Let us know what you think about the Honor 9 and if you would pick one up if Honor brings the device back to the States.
